Taking picture of artworks

Fri May 15, 2009, 10:48 PM
  • Listening to: One-winged Angel
  • Reading: lecture notes (exam..exam...*brrr*)
I want to picture of my drawings. What is the best way to take picture of an artwork? Scanners are great at producing high-fidelity pictures, but its size is a severe limitation (so far the biggest scanner I saw can take F4-size, but most conventional ones for home use are A4-sized). Cameras have this perspective distortion (like fisheye effect, where the edges of the drawing are bent in the view of the camera). Any help?
